WebGIS released!
With the aid from R & D-funds from the Swedish National Heritage Board, we have for more than two years worked with the laborious task to gather as much excavations and map data as possible from Gamla Uppsala.
We can now present the GIS-project online. It is however not finished. More information will be added during the autumn and the layout will be modified to a more user friendly format. But you can already now see where excavations have been made, and relate historical maps from the 17th and onwards to the landscape of today.
Hopefully we can produce an english version in the near future.
